2/8/2013 0 Comments Healing the heart This month we are focusing on healing the heart. We will be posting exercises and affirmations to assist you in healing your heart.
This week we have posted 3 assignments so far. 1.Look in the mirror and tell yourself how beautiful and wonderful you are....say "I love you" to yourself....hug yourself....then go and eat a little honey....have a sweet and loving day 2. Chant 100 times..... My heart is as light as a feather 3. when situations happen that hurt us....sometimes we choose to hide or suppress our hurt....thinking that it will disappear....the fact is these unprocessed thoughts and feelings can later lead to problems in relationships and dis-ease if not dealt with.... this weekend take some time to revisit the past.... take time to clear you heart of old stuff....talk about it....write about it....cry...scream....do whatever you have to do to release it....you don't have to hold on to it anymore....take a bath in sea salt when you finish and give thanks for the healing of your heart.....have a loving weekend  After dealing with a bout of the flu last month, I decided it was time to make some super tonic....to deal with the super flu.
So I was guided to make a batch of four thieves vinegar. This formu la was made years ago in Europe. The story says during the Black Plague some thieves were stealing from the dead and were caught by authorities. They were told if they gave their secret of how they were able to survive they would be set free. One spoke up and gave the recipe of a tonic they made to drink and wash themselves with. This tonic was keeping them from catching the plague. It is easy to make and keep for a long time. Add 2 tablespooons of each herb Sage, rosemary, thyme, lavender, wormwood, hyssop, clove, cinnamon and 2 cloves of garlic to a glass jar. Fill the jar with apple cider vinegar and shake. Store in a cool and dark place for 2-8 weeks. Shake often. Strain herbs and keep vinegar in a cool place. |
