Celebration for GODDESS SEKHMET

This weekend Aug 1-3 we will be celebrating the Goddess Sekhmet.  The hot summer months are times to celebrate the fire deities traditionally.  This is also considered the time of Leo the Lion constellation associated with Sekhmet.  It was the energy of Sekhmet that gave birth to Ra Sekhi Arts Temple.


  She is our patron, our Mother, Teacher and Healer.  She fights our battles and she removes things that are not good for us away.  She has been called on for thousands of years during times of birth, death, war, sickness as well as times of high spiritual experiences.  Her spirit moves through us in our breath and our blood and becomes our own life force and ashe.  She teaches us to heal using all things natural and all things that affect our senses. 
 
She is  the Unrivaled and Invincible One... The Overcomer of Enemies and Keeper of the Divine Law


Join us in this celebration wherever you are...clean and shift your healing altar... make special prayers and offerings throughout the weekend... let us continue the prayers for liberation and for MAAT to be restored to our people all over the world.
